The radius used to select the spectra is 0.08 nm, which is the same value as the one used in the main text to obtain the spectra shown in Fig. 5. Only a checkerboard antiferromagnetic ordering is present in LaMnAsO at room temperature. As expected the Mn L-edge spectra do not show an effective EMCD signal when the Mn/O columns are selected in a random ordering (as shown schematically in the Z-contrast image). The scale bar in the Z-contrast image is 0.5 nm
